Ware Malcomb hires new studio manager for downtown Chicago office

Ware Malcomb announced that Christina Piper has joined the firm as studio manager, interior architecture and design for the downtown Chicago office. In this role, Piper will be responsible for the leadership and growth of Ware Malcomb’s downtown Chicago office. The firm has an additional office in the Chicago metro area located in Oakbrook, Illinois.

“Christina possesses the winning combination of great design, drive and personality,” said Dawn Riegel, director of interior architecture and design for Ware Malcomb’s Chicago offices.

Piper brings over 13 years of experience in all facets of corporate interior design to her new role at Ware Malcomb. Having worked across the country and internationally, Piper’s expertise includes corporate interior architecture and design projects as well as healthcare, hospitality and higher education design.

“Christina is a wonderful addition to our expanding team, and we look forward to her leadership and growth of Ware Malcomb’s interior design services for commercial and corporate clients in the vibrant downtown market,” said Cameron Trefry, principal for Ware Malcomb’s Chicago offices.

Piper holds a bachelor of arts degree in interior design from Purdue University. She is a Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) Accredited Professional, a member of the International Interior Design Association (IIDA), National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ) certified and has taught as an adjunct faculty member at The Illinois Institute of Art—Chicago.

Ware Malcomb has held a presence in the Chicago metropolitan area for over 14 years. The team has completed a variety of project types across the Midwest including interiors, office, retail, healthcare, auto, science & technology and industrial.
