VP at Colliers West Michigan office earns SIOR designation

Trent Wieringa, vice president of Colliers International|West Michigan in Grand Rapids, Michigan, earned his SIOR industrial designation from the Society of Industrial and Office REALTORS.

Wieringa is one of the youngest commercial real estate professionals to earn the SIOR designation. He is also the sixth Colliers International|West Michigan advisor to achieve the designation which requires individuals to have five years of experience, meet education requirements and demonstrate personal integrity and professional ability. The average age of SIOR designees is 55.

Wieringa joined the Colliers team in 2013. Among his accomplishments, Wieringa is a three-time recipient of the Colliers’ Annual Success Award. In 2016, he was honored for achieving the third-greatest number of transactions in Colliers International|West Michigan. Some of his notable projects and transactions include the leasing and selling of the 159,000-square-foot building at the Grand Rapids Corporate Center, the sale of 4130 and 4182 Royal Court, and 16 land sales in the Jamestown Commerce Center area totaling over 132 acres and a gross transaction value of $8 million.
