Valbridge Property Advisors’ Anthony S. Mulé earns MAI Designation

Anthony S. Mulé, director of real estate analysis with the Chicago office of Valbridge Property Advisors has completed the necessary requirements and earned the Member of the Appraisal Institute (MAI) designation for his experience in the property appraisal industry.

To earn the MAI designation, Mulé was required to be a Certified General Real Property Appraiser, hold a bachelor’s degree or higher, pass rigorous education requirements including a comprehensive examination, receive credit for specialized experience in his field and show good moral character. Appraisers who have earned the MAI designation agree to adhere to the Appraisal Institute Code of Professional Ethics and Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice.

“The MAI designation is highly valued at Valbridge and within the real estate industry because it shows our commitment to integrity and experience,” said Gary DeClark, the head of the Chicago office. “Anthony is deserving of this designation, not just for meeting the necessary requirements, but for the consistency in which he performs valuations, regardless their complexity.”

Mulé has more than 10 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry, primarily focusing on commercial valuation and consulting. He joined Valbridge in the Fall of 2017.

He performs conventional appraisal work on apartments, vacant land, mobile home parks, office buildings, hotels, retail, restaurants, industrial facilities, condominiums and single-family homes. He also has extensive experience in unusual property analyses and consultations, including lease/buy-out option analysis, eminent domain valuations, real estate tax appeals and HUD rent studies. He is a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan and Wisconsin, and he holds an Illinois Real Estate Broker license.

In addition to his membership at the Appraisal Institute, Mulé is a member of the Mainstreet Organization of Realtors, the National and Illinois Association of Realtors and NAIOP. He holds a bachelor’s degree in commercial real estate and entrepreneurship from Marquette University.
