TradeLane Properties expands with addition of Dan Morrison as SVP

Chicago-based TradeLane Properties has added Dan Morrison to the company as senior vice president. Morrison will be responsible for all of the company’s underwriting analysis, due diligence, fund structuring and reporting, asset valuation and management, debt structuring and management.

Morrison joins TradeLane Properties from Strategic Industrial Properties, a Denver-based private real estate company, where he served as principal and chief investment officer responsible for private placements with both private and institutional investors, sourcing/acquiring real estate investments, debt sourcing and management and portfolio management.

Prior to Strategic Industrial Properties, Morrison served as the vice president of investment services and portfolio management for DCT Industrial Trust. He was actively involved in and led a team underwriting, evaluating and closing real estate transactions at DCT totaling over $1.5 billion in acquisitions and dispositions during his tenure. Morrison obtained additional experience in various progressing capacities within the real estate and construction advisory practice at Protiviti, Inc., a global consulting firm and wholly owned subsidiary of Robert Half International.

Morrison received his master of science in real estate and construction management from the University of Denver and his bachelor of arts in accounting and business administration from Western State College of Colorado.
