Which commercial sector is the strongest? Across the Midwest and the United States, it’s long been a battle between industrial and multifamily. A new report, though, suggests that rising demand and slowing construction will provide an additional boost to the multifamily sector starting in 2020. And that small boost could mean a future that’s slightly brighter for multifamily than it is for industrial.

Essex on the Park becomes Chicago’s first WELL Certified multifamily property

Essex on the Park, Chicago’s new 56-story, 479-unit luxury apartment building at 808 S. Michigan Avenue, has been awarded WELL Certification by the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI). Essex developers, Oxford Capital Group and Quadrum Global, and property managers The Bozzuto Group worked closely with several key partners to ensure Essex on the Park met the high standards required to achieve WELL.
