Missouri city welcoming first Avid hotel

The City of Belton, Missouri, has approved development plans for a 95-room Avid Hotel by Intercontinental Hotels Group. Located on the north side of 58 Highway just west of Markey Parkway, the four-story hotel is expected to be the first Avid concept to open in the Kansas City area.

Multi-million dollar, full-scale renovation underway at Hyatt Regency Deerfield

Full-scale renovations are underway at the Hyatt Regency Deerfield, a full-service luxury hotel in Chicago’s north suburbs. Phase one of the project, which includes a $14 million overhaul of all guest rooms, is slated for completion by April 2019. The second phase, which will commences in the fall of 2019, will include the remainder of the interior enhancements. The property will remain open during renovation.
