Chicago-based 5M Group, Inc. has closed on the sale of 720 N. Wells Street in Chicago’s River North neighborhood. Mark Reiter and Paul Nelhart of 5M Group brokered the $4.3 million sale on behalf of the seller, a family trust. The buyer intends to hang their private art collection and to lease out the space for not-for-profit use.

Salesforce Tower coming to Chicago, bringing 1,000 employees with it

San Francisco-based Salesforce is expanding its Chicago footprint, and will take naming rights on the last project in the Wolf Point Development when Salesforce Tower Chicago is completed. The software and cloud computing firm, which currently employs more than 1,400 in Chicago, aims to add 1,000 new jobs locally over the next five years.
