Ohio city to get first new hotel in nearly 100 years

The Architecture Review Board for the Ashtabula City Harbor Historical District in Ashtabula, Ohio, on May 7 approved Riverbend Hotel’s completed architectural plans. This is a final step before construction begins early this summer on the city’s first hotel in almost a century.

Mixed-use Uptown development receives financing

CEDARst Companies has secured financing for The Draper at 5050 N. Broadway, a mixed-use development project in Chicago’s Uptown neighborhood. The recent closing allows CEDARst to complete the first of two planned phases on the development. Total project costs for Phase I are estimated at $115,450,000; CEDARst raised $41 million of project equity.
