Samuel M. Luckino, AIA, LEED AP, has joined architecture firm Goettsch Partners as a principal and senior project manager in the Chicago office. In this role, Luckino will lead project teams on selected assignments, with a focus on office, hospitality, residential and mixed-use buildings.

Luckino has 16 years of professional experience working on a number of large-scale commercial buildings. Most recently, he worked at Arquitectonica for 13 years and served as the director of the New York office. Prior to that, he was a designer at Hillier Architecture, now known as RMJM.

“Sam has worked on a wide range of high-profile commercial and residential projects in the U.S., Canada and Europe,” said James Goettsch, FAIA, chairman and CEO at Goettsch. “The depth of his knowledge, experience and talent will help further expand our capabilities in providing the high design and technical quality our clients seek.”

Luckino holds both a bachelor of science in architecture and a master of architecture from The Ohio State University. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects, a LEED Accredited Professional and a member of the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat, where he previously served as a City Representative.

“Sam has a keen sense of the needs and aspirations of leading commercial developers,” said James Zheng, AIA, LEED AP, president at Goettsch. “His ability to deliver complex projects will play a vital role in expanding our work and improving our performance.”
