Salvatore Cerami appointed president of CCAGC

The Concrete Contractors Association of Greater Chicago (CCAGC) has named Salvatore (Sal) Cerami as its president. Cerami, president of Northlake, Illinois-based Cerami Construction, takes over the top spot of the association and its more than 1,000 union concrete professionals.

“Sal brings a level of professionalism along with a can-do attitude to the job,” said CCAGC executive director Bob Morreale. “We are thrilled to have Sal and our new slate of officers representing our association.”

Joining Cerami will be new board of directors officers including Dave Brown of Builders Concrete Services as vice president, Dan Hagen of Elliot Construction Corporation as treasurer and Richard Baumgartner of Baumgartner Construction as secretary.

“Together with my fellow board members and executive director Bob Morreale, I’m excited to begin building on the foundations laid by our predecessors,” said Cerami. “This year we are celebrating our 80th year; we remain committed to helping our members not just grow but thrive. We are building professional relationships that matter and we are making sure that our members’ voices are heard as the collective bargaining agent for our union colleagues.”
