Shareholder Deborah Tomczyk of Milwaukee’s Reinhart Boerner Van Deuren has received the J. Michael Mooney Award from NAIOP Wisconsin, the Wisconsin Chapter of the Commercial Real Estate Development Association.

Tomczyk, along with other leading commercial real estate professionals, were recognized for their exemplary service to the industry in 2018 by NAIOP Wisconsin at the chapter’s annual meeting on Jan. 24. The J. Michael Mooney Award is presented for extraordinary leadership of NAIOP Wisconsin and the advancement of the commercial real estate industry in Wisconsin.

Tomczyk has served as the chair of the NAIOP Wisconsin Public Policy Committee for nearly a decade and now leads the Commercial Real Estate of Wisconsin Political Action Committee. She is also a former board member and a recipient of the outstanding member award from NAIOP.

Tomczyk is a shareholder and chair of Reinhart’s Real Estate Practice and Entitlements Group where she assists clients in all aspects of real estate development, from structuring deals to securing financing and permits to ensuring successful project completions. Her specialties include government relations, zoning, land use, eminent domain, licensing, tax increment financing and business improvement districts.
