Nooshin Felsenthal, a managing director in JLL’s Chicago office, is reportedly leaving to join New York-based developer Tishman Speyer. She will manage acquisitions and development out of the firm’s Chicago office.

As first reported in Crain’s, Felsenthal will report to Tishman Speyer managing director, Ryan Botjer. The departure comes less than two months after JLL’s $1.8 billion acquisition of leading capital markets firm, HFF.

Felsenthal joined JLL in 2005, where she was primarily responsible for the disposition and recapitalization of office assets located in Chicago and throughout the Midwest. She received a BBA in finance, investments and banking from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and an MBA in finance, management and strategy from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management.

During her 14-year tenure at JLL, Felsenthal brokered numerous blockbuster deals, including Franklin Street Partners’ $182 million sale of Three Illinois Center, 601W Companies’ acquisition of the historic Sullivan Center for $176 million and the $305 million sale of 175 West Jackson.
