Minneapolis’ Schafer Richardson adds VP of asset management

Thomas Mott joined Minneapolis’ Schafer Richardson as vice president, asset management in January. He is responsible for the overall financial performance and strategic goals of the Schafer Richardson and affiliates’ commercial and multifamily portfolio.

Mott brings more than 25 years of experience in commercial property management and asset management to his new position with Schafer Richardson. During his career, he has been instrumental in the acquisition, repositioning and disposition of a variety of property types, both locally and nationally, and overseeing strategic initiatives for such properties.

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Management from Minnesota State University (formerly Mankato State University) and Master of Science in Business Administration and Management from Boston University. He is actively involved in NAIOP and volunteers as a coach.
