Wisconsin's raSmith promotes two

Civil engineering firm raSmith has promoted two employees to leadership positions in the survey division of its Brookfield, Wisconsin, office. Eric Sturm has received a promotion from assistant director of survey to director of survey as Paul Taivalkoski, former director, transitions into retirement in May. Shane Zodrow has been promoted from survey project manager to assistant director of survey.

Zilber wraps development of pair of industrial facilities near Milwaukee

Zilber Property Group compelted development of two speculative industrial facilities totaling more than 400,000 square feet in Germantown, Wisconsin, a northwest submarket of Milwaukee. The two facilities, each totaling about 200,000 square feet, will be constructed in the newly developed Germantown Gateway Corporate Park, which is anchored by a 706,000-square-foot distribution facility for Wauwatosa-based Briggs & Stratton Corporation.

Boldt wins national award for Wisconsin hospital project

Associated General Contractors (AGC) of America honored The Boldt Company with a Build America award for the construction of Aurora Medical Center – Bay Area, a 335,033-square-foot replacement hospital, medical office building and cancer center in Marinette, Wisconsin. The Boldt Company was recognized for its Integrated Lean Project Delivery (ILPD) approach in partnership with the owner, Aurora Medical Center – Bay Area and the architect, CannonDesign.
