CRE sentiment is trending upward, according to NAIOP survey

In a forward-looking snapshot of the state of the nation’s commercial real estate, the latest CRE Sentiment Index from NAIOP points to a bullish outlook for the next year. In the aggregate, respondents showed more support for the notion that the fundamentals underpinning commercial real estate will be stronger in 12 months than they are today.

Six commercial real estate leaders were elected to the 2019 CREW (Commercial Real Estate Women) Network Board of Directors, which will be led by Holly Neber, CEO of AEI Consultants. The announcement was made at the 2018 CREW Network Convention and Marketplace in San Diego, Calif.

Three Pickard Chilton-designed projects honored with 2018 Americas Property Awards

Three projects by New Haven, Connecticut-based Pickard Chilton each received a 2018 Americas Property Award for Commercial High-Rise Architecture. The three office towers, all developed by Hines, include River Point in Chicago, Northwestern Mutual Tower and Commons in Milwaukee and 609 Main at Texas in Houston. Northwestern Mutual Tower and Commons and 609 Main were also recognized with Five Star awards.
