Lena Kitson promoted to principal at Gensler

Gensler Chicago announced that Lena Kitson has been newly appointed principal. Kitson is widely recognized for her skills as a design manager, with clients and industry experts seeking out her knowledge, management acumen and her leadership skills to lead their projects.

As a design manager, Kitson stewards some of Gensler’s most important client relationships. In her role as the work colab business leader, she actively mentors many design managers and pushes for success. Kitson has been with Gensler since 2007 and previously held roles at Destefano Partners and JM Architects.

Kitson holds a bachelor’s degree in architectural sciences/interior design from University of Nebraska, from which she recently received a Distinguished Professional Award. She is also an active member of IIDA and Corenet Global.
