Lee & Associates of Illinois recently hired Sean Austin. He specializes in the leasing and selling of industrial properties in the Chicago/Metro area for institutional owners, sources development opportunities and executes tenant representation transactions for national clients.
Austin will partner with managing broker Walter Murphy, with a focus on the Chicago/Metro big box market from the city to the I-55/I-80 submarkets. Austin has a BA in economics from University of New Hampshire, and is an alumnus of Phillips Andover Academy. He also played professional hockey in the LA Kings minor league system and in Europe.
Having represented over 20 million square feet of Class A, institutionally owned industrial projects during his career, Austin began his commercial real estate career in 2003 in the dynamic Southern California industrial market. He was a top producing broker for both Trammell Crow Company and Cushman & Wakefield and has leased and sold over $400 million of industrial properties in the Los Angeles County/Inland Empire markets.
