Kevin Connelly joins BMO Financial Corp. board of directors

BMO Financial Corp. announced the appointment of Kevin Connelly to the BMO Financial Corp. board of directors. Connelly most recently served as CEO and chairman of Spencer Stuart, a global executive search and leadership consulting firm. His appointment is effective January 1, 2019.

Connelly served as the CEO of Spencer Stuart from 2012-2018, and as a core member of the board and CEO practice, he continues to serve a broad range of clients on search, leadership and governance matters. Prior to his terms as CEO, he was chairman for six years. He currently continues to serve as an active full-time senior partner of the firm.

Before his tenure at Spencer Stuart, he was chief financial officer and chief operating officer at other major companies and served as a director of a major supplier to the world’s leading car makers. Connelly began his career with Harris Bank where he held a number of leadership positions. A Wisconsin native, Connelly holds a bachelor of arts degree from Marquette University and a master of business administration degree from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
