Industry veteran joins Triad Real Estate Partners

Triad Real Estate Partners has hired James Clough, a 21-year investment brokerage veteran, to their downtown Chicago office as a managing director.

Clough began his investment brokerage career at Marcus & Millichap in 1998 and quickly worked his way up the ranks from junior agent, to senior agent, and on to vice president of investments during his fifteen-year run at the firm. He subsequently joined Interra Realty, a boutique Chicago-based real estate services firm, serving as managing partner for six years before joining Triad last month.

Clough brings a breadth of experience and a significant track record of over 200 closed transactions with a total value of over $500 million. In addition, he has completed evaluations on well over $2 billion worth of investment real estate throughout his career across multiple states. Clough has also trained, mentored and managed a number of younger brokers who have gone onto successful careers in the business.

“We are thrilled to have James join our growing team here at Triad”, said Sean Lyons, one of the partners at the firm. “James brings with him a depth of experience that is very difficult to find in this business along with trusted and meaningful relationships that he has built over two decades doing deals. We couldn’t be happier to have him on board and look forward to working alongside him during this next chapter in his career.”
