HGA makes key appointments in Milwaukee office

Architecture firm HGA recently made two key appointments, naming Paula Verboomen as office director and Peter Balistrieri as practice leader of the Public|Corporate Group in its Milwaukee office.

As office director, Verboomen will oversee daily operations of the 190-person Milwaukee office. Verboomen has more than 20 years experience specializing in public, corporate, higher-education, research and development and healthcare design.

Among her noteworthy projects are the Milwaukee County Zoo Elephant Exhibit, Aurora Health Center-84South ambulatory surgery center and Discovery World at Pier Wisconsin in Milwaukee.

As practice leader, Balistrieri will manage new business opportunities, client relations and team processes for the Public|Corporate Group.

Balistrieri has more than 20 years of national and international experience specializing in corporate, government and research and development architecture.

His major projects include the Harley Davidson Museum in Milwaukee, Schreiber Foods Home Office and Global Technology Center in Green Bay and multiple projects for Kerry Group in Wisconsin, Ireland, Singapore, Brazil and Russia.
