Leading technology distributor TBI, Inc. has signed a 27,484 square-foot, full-floor, long-term lease in International Tower, located at 8550 W. Bryn Mawr Avenue in Chicago. In conjunction with the lease, Golub & Company will begin a revitalization of the building with new amenities, all to be completed in 2019.
Golub’s Steve Degodny, vice president, leasing, represented Golub & Company, and Alex Smith, Brad Frank and Jordan Rovito of Cushman & Wakefield represented TBI, which is moving from its previous location at 8770 W. Bryn Mawr Avenue.
“This lease underscores the desirability of the O’Hare submarket and International Tower’s premier location near both the airport and public transit,” said Michael Newman, principal and CEO, Golub & Company. “The newly redesigned amenities will cater to today’s workforce and make the building even more attractive for firms such as TBI.”
The 300,000-square-foot International Tower is conveniently located five minutes from O’Hare airport and walking distance to the CTA Blue Line, offering advanced technology infrastructure, abundant covered parking and proximity to the Renaissance O’Hare, which includes a Starbucks and shuttle service to the airport. Griskelis Young Harrell – Architects have been hired to design the new amenity spaces, which include a fitness space, yoga room, conference center and a tenant lounge.
