Dermody Properties hires Neal Driscoll as Midwest region partner

Dermody Properties, a national real estate investment, development and management company specializing in acquisitions and development of logistics properties, has hired Neal Driscoll as Midwest region partner. Based in the company’s Chicago office Driscoll is responsible for the company’s expanding portfolio across the Midwest including the pursuit of acquisition, development, redevelopment and build-to-suit opportunities.

“I look forward to joining the knowledgeable and experienced team at Dermody Properties and contributing to what is already a fast-growing region in the portfolio,” said Driscoll. “The future is bright for new acquisitions and developments in this region, which will create fantastic opportunities for our customers.”

Before joining Dermody Properties, Driscoll was vice president and market officer for Liberty Property Trust. During his 15-year career with Liberty Property Trust, he oversaw a portfolio that grew from 8 million to 19 million square feet of industrial space across the Midwestern United States. He was also responsible for all aspects of acquisition, disposition, (re)development, leasing and operations. Prior to that, Driscoll served as an industrial broker, providing investment and representation services in the Midwest.

Driscoll is an active member of the National Association for Industrial and Office Parks (NAIOP), Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR) and Association of Industrial Real Estate Brokers (AIRE), and also serves on not-for-profit advisory boards. He holds a bachelor of arts degree in real estate and finance from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee.

“We are happy to welcome Neal to our growing team,” said Douglas A. Kiersey, Jr., president of Dermody Properties. “His personal qualities, skills and extensive experience in the Midwest region will be an asset to both our team and customers.”
