CBRE recently represented Darktrace, a leading cyber AI defense firm, in a 10,293-square-foot lease at 333 N. Michigan Avenue in Chicago. The move marks a significant expansion for the company, which opened its Chicago office in 2018 with just 2,858 square feet the building. Darktrace will now occupy a full floor at the property beginning in the second quarter of next year.
“Darktrace has seen increased demand for its Cyber AI Platform thoughout the Midwest,” said Lucas Ryder, managing director, Chicago for Darktrace. “Companies across industries, including local municipalities, leading law firms and top manufacturers, are able to benefit from Darktrace’s unparalled threat detection and one-of-a-kind autonomous response capabilities. We’re excited to continue to grow our customer base out of the expanded Chicago office.”
Tony Coglianese and Mark Keebler of CBRE represented Darktrace in the transaction.
“Darktrace has seen impressive expansion in Chicago in a very short period of time,” said Coglianese. “This move will more than triple the firm’s current office space, accommodating its bold growth trajectory and Midwest expansion plans. Darktrace is one of many coastal technology companies looking to Chicago to diversify its business, grow its talent pool and maximize ROI.”
