Cushman & Wakefield names new leader in Detroit

Garrett Keais has been named managing principal of Cushman & Wakefield’s Detroit operations.

Keais succeeds Brian Piergentili, who led the business since Cushman & Wakefield’s merger with DTZ in 2015. Piergentili will return to a client-facing role and will remain actively involved throughout the transition.

Keais has more than 25 years of experience in real estate, including managing real estate portfolios for multi-billion dollar financial institutions.

“Detroit has been undergoing a massive transformation that has resulted in strong momentum, and commercial real estate is a big part of that story,” Keais said. “I look forward to working with my talented colleagues to ensure a continued focus on delivering integrated services to our clients.”
