Cushman & Wakefield has hired industry veteran Andrea Burg as a senior project manager in the company’s national Project and Development Services (PDS) group. Based out of the firm’s Detroit office, Burg will provide leadership and direction for project management services to ensure accurate and timely execution of the overall project process.
Specific responsibilities include technical project support, project budgeting and financial management, scheduling, procurement and risk management.
Burg joins Cushman & Wakefield from UnitedHealth Group, where she was most recently the real estate services director responsible for capital planning and project delivery for all office, clinical, pharmacy and facility maintenance projects for the U.S.-based Optum portfolio. Prior to that, she was a vice president at JLL, where she provided leadership and direction for project management activities and project implementation from planning through completion and close-out activities.
Throughout her 20-plus year career in the metro Detroit area, Burg has developed a deep understanding of project development processes for budget, schedule, quality and risk.
