Colliers International | Chicago’s Christopher Volkert, SIOR and Brian Kling represented Follett Corporation in a three-year, 551,200-square-foot, full-building sublease to Wholesale Interiors at 2805 Duke Parkway in Aurora, Illinois. It is one of the Chicago area’s largest industrial lease transactions to date.

“Demand remains consistent in the I-88 Corridor,” said Volkert, a principal with Colliers International | Chicago. “Users continue to be drawn to DuPage County and the modern warehouse product available in the area.”

Wholesale Interiors is a furniture supplier and distributor of commercial furniture, hotel furniture and restaurant furniture. The company will expand its operations from Bensenville, Illinois.

Owned by Duke Realty, 2805 Duke Parkway is cross-docked with 32-foot clear height, 74 dock doors, four grade-level drive-in doors, 73 trailer parking positions and 153 car parking spaces. In addition, it features 25,000 square feet in office space. The facility offers immediate access to two, four-way interchanges along I-88 at Eola Road and Route 59.
