CBRE forms new capital markets partnership in Chicago

CBRE capital markets professionals, Blake Johnson and Keely Polczynski, will partner to pursue large office investment assignments in Chicago and the greater Midwest.

Johnson, executive vice president, will be transitioning from his role as a managing director in CBRE’s global client care division. Johnson has more than 27 years of experience in the investment market, completing more than $12 billion in sales throughout his career, including many marquee office properties in Chicago. Prior to joining CBRE in 2016, Johnson held positions with the John Buck Company, a Chicago development firm, and Eastdil Secured.

Polczynski, senior vice president with CBRE, has focused on urban retail and mixed-use investment at CBRE the past 10 years, completing sales in excess of $1 billion. She will continue to run her current practice as she partners with Johnson on this new endeavor.

“Blake and Keely are two of the top investment professionals in our industry and we are confident that this partnership will deliver superior results for our clients, as well as be a significant boost to our operations in Chicago and the Midwest,” said John Latessa, president of CBRE’s Midwest division.
