Caton Commercial Real Estate Group hires two new executives

Caton Commercial Real Estate Group has hired two new executives. Amy Hall, CRX, CLS, SLD, will join the team as chief operating officer and Jennifer Pollack will serve as director of marketing, based in the group’s Naperville, Illinois office.

“The addition of Amy and Jennifer will help us take Caton to the next level and bring a heightened level of service to our commercial real estate clients across the Chicago area and beyond,” said Bill Caton, CIPS, owner and managing broker of Caton Commercial. “They are both well-respected professionals who share our vision for expanding our established client base by delivering superior client service and tangible results.”

Hall joins the team from LM Commercial Real Estate in Clarendon Hills, Illinois, where she managed day-to-day operations and training and development for the brokerage and development divisions. In her new role, Hall is overseeing operations and a strategic growth initiative for Caton Commercial as it continues to expand its commercial real estate footprint in the Chicago area, and nationally and internationally through strategic client relationships.

Hall brings more than 20 years of experience in commercial real estate, specializing in the leasing and development of master planned communities and retail real estate. She has extensive experience in retail lease negotiations, development and re-development, sales training and development and staff architecture.

She has helped to educate and train hundreds of leasing professionals for her own organizations as well as the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). She holds the ICSC designations of CRX (Certified Retail Property Executive), CLS (Certified Leasing Specialist) and SLD (Specialty Leasing Designation) and is a shopping center industry thought leader; actively participating in several key roles with ICSC since 2005. She was appointed the ICSC Illinois State Ambassador in 2016. Hall is passionate about giving back through formally mentoring several young real estate professionals.

Hall received a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Roosevelt University in Chicago and a master’s degree in professional development from Amberton University in Garland, Texas. She also is a member of the Board of Directors of the Elgin Youth Symphony Orchestra, the Fundraising Committee for The O’Brien School for the Massai, Lambda Alpha International and the Goldie Initiative Scholar Leadership Development Committee and Mentor Taskforce.

Director of marketing Pollack has worked in real estate for more than 15 years, most recently as a real estate administrator, where she oversaw office operations and transaction management. In her new role, Pollack is responsible for managing brand building and brand awareness initiatives; creating property marketing brochures, offering memoranda, promotional pieces, and collateral; planning and coordinating broker events and generating email marketing campaigns for Caton Commercial. She also has extensive experience in executive and brokerage support, bookkeeping and office management.

Pollack received a bachelor’s degree from North Central College in Naperville. She is also an active volunteer who has worked with Hedd Mutt Foundation Dog Rescue, Humane Haven Animal Shelter, ADOPT Pet Shelter, Feed My Starving Children, The Greater Chicago Food Depository and Sole Hope.
