Brown Commercial Group negotiated two leases and one sale for a cumulative 32,733 square feet in Chicago’s western and northwestern suburbs. Each transaction involved an end user working to quickly expand its space through a new lease or acquisition.
Brown Commercial Group partner, Trinity Scurto, represented the tenant, First Priority DKI, in the lease of 15,000 square feet at 114 Industrial Drive in Gilberts, Illinois. Scurto and Brown Commercial Group senior broker, Jim Pietrarosso, represented the building owner, a private investor.
“Chicago’s suburban industrial market continues to move at a brisk pace, with tenants expanding and often needing a quick turnaround on finding new space,” Scurto said. “First Priority DKI was in a building that was being sold and we found them a new location that offered the flexibility for expansion to support future growth.”
Scurto also represented Mid City Plumbing in its acquisition of the 10,473-square-foot property at 1425 Industrial Drive in Itasca, Illinois. The company also was expanding its space, moving from a smaller location in Bensenville, Illinois. The building’s seller, Harold Investments LLC, was represented by Entre Commercial Realty’s Cory Kay and Mike Gazzola.
Also, Brown Commercial Group broker, Matt Hanson, represented Protexia LLC in its lease of 7,260 square feet of storage, distribution and headquarters space at 1037 N. Lombard Road in Lombard, Illinois. The space was in high demand and the new tenant needed to more quickly to secure the space. The building owner was represented by Lee & Associates’ Jay Farnam.
