Avison Young appoints Ken Sacco as principal

Ken Sacco has been appointed principal at Avison Young’s Chicago office. Previously with Accenture, Sacco will apply his extensive consulting expertise to align clients’ real estate portfolio strategies with their business and financial objectives. In doing so, he’ll partner with the firm’s transaction teams to maximize client business efficiency and performance.

“Ken is an accomplished business leader with diverse experience across commercial real estate, finance, technology and management consulting,” said Gerry Hughes, Avison Young principal and global head of consulting services. “He’s ideally suited to help clients optimize their real estate strategies, aligning with their core business objectives.”

Sacco brings more than 20 years’ experience to Avison Young, spanning commercial real estate, investment banking and management consulting. He has held leadership roles within Accenture, JLL, CBRE and Barclays. He earned an MBA in business strategy, finance and real estate from the Kellogg School of Management, and is a former non-commissioned infantry officer in the United States Marine Corps.

“Corporate real estate is typically one of the top operating costs for most organizations and represents a significant portion of a company’s total assets, economically and strategically,” said Sacco. “I look forward to working within the firm’s principal-led, collaborative culture to help clients achieve results through building their strategic real estate portfolios.”
