Broder & Sachse Real Estate, an urban real estate development company, is relocating their office from Birmingham, Michigan, to downtown Detroit.

The new 6,000-square-foot office is located on the third floor of the Arts League Building at 1528 Woodward Ave., and will house Broder & Sachse’s acquisition, development and property management teams. The staff is expected to be fully operational in their Detroit office by March 5. Broder & Sachse CEO Richard Broder made the announcement.

“Moving our business to Detroit has been in the works for some time now and it’s a natural fit for us, given the number of projects we have undertaken in the city,” said chief executive officer Richard Broder, in a written statement. “It’s important for us to continue the momentum we’ve generated over the past few years by opening properties that push the envelope, and to remain at the forefront of innovative, experiential, community-focused, urban properties. This move reinforces our commitment to contributing to the ongoing evolution and improvement of the Detroit community.”

Broder & Sachse has played a role in the revitalization of downtown Detroit in recent years through several acquisitions and developing three substantial mixed-use properties, including The Scott at Brush Park, The Albert - Capitol Park, The Hamilton Midtown Detroit and Orchestra Place.
