The 10th Annual CIP Industrial Real Estate and Transportation & Logistics Conference will take place in less than 24 hours, on Oct. 30, 2013 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Rosemont.

From the opening, one-on-one conversation between Lynn Reich of Colliers and Carter Andrus of Prologis through the final panel that focuses on Transportation & Logistics and features  experts such as John Grueling of Will County, Adam Roth of NAI, and Brian McKiernan of CenterPoint, the event is filled with some of the best and brightest in industrial real estate.

“We’ve assembled a stellar roster of speakers who are prepared to share their knowledge and expertise about the marketplace,” Mark Menzies, Group Publisher, Real Estate Publishing Group, said. “Everything points to continued positive momentum, and our speakers will elaborate on what we can expect moving forward.”

This year’s conference kicks off with a one-on-one conversation that “gets inside the mind” of Lynn Reich, SIOR, an executive vice president with Colliers International. Reich will be interviewed by Carter Andrus, an executive with Prologis.

The first of the panels will be a high-profile panel looking into the state of the 1.4 billion-square-foot industrial market.

Just ahead of a panel that will take a closer look at the transportation & logistics industry there will be concurrent breakout sessions on design and construction trends and on investment in industrial properties.

The conference begins at 7 a.m. with registration and continental breakfast. The program formally begins at 8 a.m. with an introduction by Tom Boyle, the President of the Association of Industrial Real Estate Brokers and a Principal with Newmark Grubb Knight Frank.
