Brendan Shanahan has joined Annaly Capital Management, Inc., a New York-based REIT, as director – commercial real estate group. The move launches a Chicago office for the firm, from which Shanahan will lead Midwest originations.
Prior to joining Annaly, Shanahan was a vice president at Pacific Coast Capital Partners LLC (PCCP) originating both debt and equity investment opportunities in the Midwest, Northern California and Pacific Northwest. Prior to PCCP, Shanahan held various real estate development roles in New York, including with The Durst Organization on One World Trade Center.
