Farbman Group, a full-service commercial real estate firm based in Southfield, Michigan, with offices throughout the Midwest, has named Teena Lorie Harris as property manager for properties in Northbrook, Elk Grove and Naperville, Illinois. Harris will oversee the firm’s suburban Chicago portfolio including the operations, general site management and maintenance of Farbman Group-managed commercial properties.
Prior to joining Farbman Group, Harris served as assistant property manager for a residential and commercial real estate firm where she oversaw day-to-day operations for a set portfolio of commercial properties. She also identified capital projects and led the bid process for obtaining vendors. Harris also developed annual expense budgets, reporting directly to the property owners.
Harris earned a bachelor’s degree and a master’s in business administration from at Concordia University, Ann Arbor, Michigan. She resides in Chicago. Harris has sung on Grammy-winning recordings and is a retired opera singer. She was also runner-up for Chicago Poet Laureate.
