Syska Hennessy promotes nine around the country, including Chicago

Syska Hennessy Group, a New York-headquartered engineering firm with offices around the globe, has elevated nine professionals across six offices to the position of associate principal. In the Chicago office, Josh Fluecke, PE, LEED AP, has been promoted.

Fluecke has been with the firm since 2011 and works in the electrical systems design group. Prior to Syska Hennessy, he was a project manager at Henneman Engineering and before that, a project engineer at Environmental Systems Design. He received his BS in electrical engineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago.

The other professionals promoted at Syska Heennessy included James Carrigan; Alex Engelman, PE, CEM, LEED AP; Mike Falkenstern, CEA, CxAP, LEED AP BD+C and Niki Fox, PE, LEED AP, all in the New York office, as well as George Hachem, PE, LEED AP, in Raleigh; Sean Marcel, PE in San Diego; Kevin Meyer, PE, in Jacksonville and Alex Myers, LEED AP,  in Charlotte.

“Syska is a management-owned firm, which is one of the keys to our success,” said co-president Cyrus Izzo. “Associate principals are rising leaders in the ownership structure.”

“We just celebrated Syska’s 90th anniversary,” said co-president Gary Brennen. “These associate principals will play an important role in positioning us for the next 90 years.”
