St. Louis’ ElmTree names CFO

Kerry Gawrych has been promoted to the role of chief financial officer at ElmTree Funds, LLC, a real estate private equity firm. In this role, she will lead all of the firm’s accounting, financial reporting, analysis and administration departments. Gawrych will also continue to serve on the firm’s compliance committee. She is based in St. Louis.

Gawrych has more than 20 years of progressive accounting experience in the commercial real estate industry including development and operating accounting responsibilities for retail, office, industrial and multifamily properties. She joined ElmTree Funds in 2015 as its controller, where she managed the construction draw process for build-to-suit properties, spearheaded the external audit process and ensured the maintenance of internal controls.

Prior to ElmTree Funds, she was the controller/director of accounting for Koch Development Co., Inc. Gawrych has also held leadership roles at THF Realty, The John Buck Company, General Growth Properties and Midland Development Group.
