NKF Capital Markets conducts sale of industrial asset

NKF Capital Markets has successfully orchestrated the sale of 440 S. McLean Boulevard in Elgin, IL to Plymouth Industrial REIT, Inc. Senior managing director Adam Marshall, SIOR, CCIM and managing director Boris Shraybman oversaw the transaction of the 74,613-square-foot asset on behalf of the seller, a private ownership group. Bryan Bartlett, senior vice president and principal of Newmark Grubb Phoenix Realty Group, represented Plymouth in the acquisition.

Working on behalf of New York Life Investment, Colliers International I Chicago has arranged the sale of Green Oaks Business Center, a three-building, Class A industrial portfolio in Green Oaks, IL, in Chicago’s far northern suburbs. The buyer was a commingled fund managed by Dermody Properties. Sale price was not disclosed.

Crawford Power Plant site changes hands, set for remediation and redevelopment

Hilco Redevelopment Partners, a unit of Hilco Global, announced today the purchase and acquisition of the Crawford Power Generating Station site from NRG Energy in Chicago’s Little Village neighborhood. The Crawford site operated as a coal-fired power plant from 1925 until its decommissioning in 2012. Hilco Redevelopment Partners, based in suburban Northbrook, will undertake comprehensive remediation of the industrial site before proceeding with redevelopment. NRG Energy selected Hilco after an extensive process to sell the property.
