SCB promotes Sprogis-Marohn to principal

Chicago-based architecture, interior design and planning firm Solomon Cordwell Buenz (SCB) announced the promotion of Renee Sprogis-Marohn, AIA to principal. Since joining SCB in 2011 as a project architect, Sprogis-Marohn quickly asserted herself as a leader within the firm’s interiors studio.

As a project manager, she worked closely with senior leadership to grow the SCB interiors studio and in 2014 assumed the role of studio leader, managing the operations of a 40+ person team with a portfolio of high-profile projects around the country. In addition to her role as studio leader, Sprogis-Marohn was instrumental in managing many large, complex projects and a key team-member in developing a multi-year relationship with United Airlines, one of SCB’s largest clients.

“Renee has demonstrated a tremendous amount of dedication to the Interiors team and to the firm as a whole. Her admirable work ethic, no-nonsense leadership style and sense of humor have helped to carry us through many successes and challenges,” said Sheyla Conforte, principal and executive director of interior design at SCB.
