Rush Street Capital expands with the hire of two new associates

Chicago-based financial firm, Rush Street Capital, has expanded its team by hiring two new associates, Patrick Kelly and James Sheehan. Both associates joined the firm in August 2018, and will work out of the Chicago headquarters location at 125 S. Clark Street.

Patrick Kelly has over five years experience in the financial services industry, most recently with West Suburban Bank as a senior underwriter in their commercial lending division. In this role Kelly was a vital member of the bank’s lending practices to Chicago-based companies. Kelly is a University of Kentucky graduate, resides in Ukrainian Village and is an avid Chicago sports and Kentucky basketball fan.

Prior to joining Rush Street Capital, James Sheehan worked in institutional sales at Zacks Investment Research, where he sold research platforms to portfolio managers, CIOs and financial advisors at broker dealers, RIAs and other institutions. Residing in Lincoln Park, Sheehan enjoys fitness and other sporting activities, is an avid lover of history and is a die-hard Cleveland sports fan. Sheehan is a graduate of Miami University of Ohio.

Kelly and Sheehan will both be focused on underwriting, sourcing and placing debt for middle market transactions as part of the debt capital markets team.
