Highly regarded construction and development industry veteran Paul Laskowske has joined Avison Young. Laskowske will serve as a senior vice president and director of construction in the firm’s Chicago office, where he will oversee the design and construction of all building projects for Avison Young’s development services group.
With 33 years of experience in the construction industry, Laskowske is an expert in management of preconstruction and construction phases on a wide range of project types, including office buildings, residential projects, hotels, healthcare facilities and convention centers. Laskowske was most recently a senior vice president and general manager with Clune Construction Company.

During his career, Laskowske has coordinated the construction of more than $400 million worth of active office projects, including Dearborn Center and the USG Building. Laskowske was also responsible for business development, preconstruction and construction activities on more than $300 million worth of active residential projects, including the Millennium Centre and Pinnacle Tower condominiums.
Among the projects he is involved in with Avison Young is VUE 53, a new private, high-end, mixed-use development in Chicago’s Hyde Park neighborhood. The project includes a 13-story building incorporating approximately 28,800 square feet of ground-level retail space and twelve levels of multi-family residential apartment units with 267 apartment units and 401 beds.
