Patrick J. Kearney joins GlenStar Properties executive team

Patrick J. Kearney has joined GlenStar Properties’ executive team as a principal. Kearney will be an integral part of the leadership team, heading up acquisitions and development for the company. In addition, he will assist with asset management and other strategic corporate initiatives.

“We are thrilled to have Patrick on the GlenStar team. He is a recognized leader in our industry and brings a wealth of experience and creativity to our platform,” said GlenStar managing principal Michael Klein.

A career commercial real estate executive, Kearney has been responsible for the acquisition, disposition and development of more than 35 million square feet and $8.5 billion of commercial and residential property. He most recently served as a regional managing director with Tishman Speyer overseeing the Midwest. In this role, he led more than 20 professionals and was instrumental in all acquisition, financing and development activities. Further, he established asset management and leasing strategies for the firm’s entire Midwest portfolio. Kearney started at Tishman Speyer in 2005 and covered the Midwest, Atlanta and Boston markets during his tenure.

Prior to that, Kearney worked within Lincoln Property Company’s pension fund advisory group where he focused on acquisition and asset management of a national portfolio of diverse property types. He earned a BBA from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and is an active member of ULI and WREAA.

“This is an incredible opportunity to join a locally based, full-service investment and development firm with a proven track record and an established brand,” said Kearney. “GlenStar’s entrepreneurial and creative spirit are extremely attractive and I’m looking forward to partnering with the principals and the firm’s strong existing team to immediately grow the platform.”
