Jack Reardon has joined Cushman and Wakefield as executive director.

Reardon's hiring is the latest in a number of high-profile hires at Cushman & Wakefield's Chicago office.

A consistent million-dollar producer, the 46-year-old Reardon is known as one of the Chicago area's top suburban office leasing brokers and is a three-time recipient of the "Broker of the Year" award presented by Crain's Chicago Business.

He comes to Cushman & Wakefield from CB Richard Ellis, where he spent the last decade dominating the suburban office landlord agency business. At Cushman & Wakefield, he will continue to focus on the northwest suburban, north suburban and O'Hare-area submarkets.

Reardon, a graduate of Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, has spent nearly 25 years in commercial real estate including roughly 15 years at CBRE. In that time, he has leased many high-profile office buildings in the Chicago suburbs including the Woodfield Corporate Center in Schaumburg, Pointe O'Hare in Rosemont, Commerce Plaza in Oak Brook, Parkway North in Deerfield, the Corporate 500 Centre in Deerfield and 6400 Shafer Court in Rosemont.

Earlier this month, he completed two of the largest suburban office transactions of the past year on the same day. The two leases - in neighboring Schaumburg buildings - totaled more than 465,000 square feet.

Reardon is the most recent in a series of commercial real estate pros to join Cushman & Wakefield over the past six months. Others include Jim Dieter, who was appointed last week as Cushman & Wakefield's new head of industrial real estate in the U.S., and Barbara Carley, the new head of Cushman & Wakefield's Client Solutions platform in the
