La Quinta opens flagship hotel in Chicago

La Quinta Inns & Suites has opened its flagship hotel in downtown Chicago. It is located inside the Loop at One South Franklin Street and was an adaptive reuse project converting the former Jewish Federation Building built in 1958.

In addition to making something old new again, La Quinta Inn & Suites - Chicago Downtown is participating in Chicago's Green Roof Program and has taken many of the necessary steps to obtain LEED and ENERGY STAR certification such as recycling, use of eco-friendly cleaning chemicals and energy-efficient equipment.
