Investment brokerage sells 120-bed nursing facility in Missouri

Missouri

Senior Living Investment Brokerage in early June handled the sale of a 120-bed skilled nursing facility in Blue Springs, Mo.

The transaction represents the third sale of a long-term care facility that Senior Living Investment Brokerage has handled in 2009.

The one-story building was built in 1979. It includes about 39,000 square feet and sits on more than 2.9 acres of land.

Blue Springs is located on the eastern edge of the Kansas City area,and is within two miles of the primary medical center for the region.

At the time of the sale, occupancy of the building stood at about 70 percent. The buyer is a regional long-term car provider. This buyer owns two other such facilities in Missouri.

The facility sold for $4.3 million. Jeff Binder and Patrick Byrne of Senior Living Investment Brokerage handled the transaction.
