Julie J. Samuelson, a portfolio manager for Cushman & Wakefield, has been named the Greater Minneapolis Building Owners and Managers Association's new president. "It's truly an honor to be part of such a well-known and respected organization," Samuelson said. "BOMA Greater Minneapolis is the eighth largest BOMA chapter in the country, and I am excited to expand my leadership role on behalf of its 500-plus members to build on the chapter's successful advocacy and educational initiatives." Samuelson will immediately begin her one-year term as president. Samuelson succeeds Inland American Office Management's James C. Durda at the position. Samuelson has been a member of BOMA Greater Minneapolis since the early 1980s, serving on numerous committees as well as a three-year term on the board of directors. Samuelson, a graduate of the University of Minneapolis with a bachelor's degree in liberal arts, provides property account leadership for a portfolio consisting of more than five million square feet at Cushman & Wakefield. She is responsible for the developments and implementation of an overall strategic plan designed to enhance the value of each client's assets. She has 25 years of experience in commercial real estate management. More Articles
