First Industrial leases 145,000sf in Milwaukee

First Industrial Realty Trust has signed a deal with two tenants to lease 145,000 square feet of regional distribution space within its First Park Oak Creek industrial park in Milwaukee, Wis.

The firm leased 64,000 square feet of space at Building B to Regina USA, Inc., a manufacturer of high-performance chains for motorcycle, industrial and conveyor applications.

First Industrial also leased 81,000 square feet of distribution space in Building A to We Energies, a subsidiary of Wisconsin Energy Corp.

The two transactions bring the occupancy rate of the park to 79 percent. There is currently still 39,000 square feet of distribution space still available.
