IREM names Angie Richter associate member of the year

Angie Richter
Angie Richter, a property manager for Welsh Companies, has been named Associate Member of the Year by the Institute of Real Estate Management, Minnesota Chapter 45.

Ms. Richter, selected for her work on the membership committee and her student outreach work, implemented the first young professionals program for the chapter and organized social hours to get young people involved in the real estate industry. She also recruited student members to the organization while representing IREM Chapter 45 at a local college fair.

Angie has been ready and willing to participate in committee work, bringing much benefit to our organization and the real estate industry" Kari Heltemes, Association Director, IREM Chapter 45, said. "This award is well-deserved."

Ms. Richter manages a one million square foot portfolio of industrial properties for Welsh Cos. and has implemented a successful tenant retention program. She has also ensured that her properties have made pre-defined financial goals by developing annual budgets and monitoring financial performance.
