by Illinois Real Estate Journal ReportsChicago -> O'HareMatt Nix has been promoted from senior real estate director to vice president of development in Opus North Corp.'s residential and mixed-use development division. Mike Yungerman has been promoted from senior real estate director to vice president of development in Opus North's industrial development division. Nix, who has been with Opus North since 2004, has overseen many residential projects, including Burr Ridge Village Center. He is also working on Port Clinton Place in Vernon Hills, which includes 47 rowhomes and 66 single-level condominium residences in its first phase. Most recently, he is starting on the Arboretum Landmark, a 391-unit luxury apartment community, located within the Corporetum Office Campus in Lisle. During his three-year tenure with Opus North, Mike Yungerman has overseen the development and build-out of the Oakview Corporate Park, an industrial, multi-tenant development in West Dundee, Minooka Ridge II, a big-box distribution center in Minooka, and most recently, the Cicero Business Center, a 550,000 square foot speculative industrial development in Cicero, amongst others. Queenan added that in Yungerman's new position his responsibilities will broaden to include industrial projects in Wisconsin.
