Morgan / Harbour Construction has hired Richard Melone as project executive in the company’s Willowbrook, Illinois headquarters office. Melone has a strong background in healthcare construction having led numerous projects for the healthcare division of his previous firm throughout the Chicago area.
Previously a project executive for Reed Construction, Melone has an extensive, 24-year background in the construction industry and is highly regarded for his ability to lead successful project teams with a collaborative style. He cultivates strong stakeholder relationships, has extensive experience in budget oversight and optimizes a team’s performance and project’s success through strategic decision making and model leadership.
“Rich brings a great deal of project leadership experience to his role with us,” said Ben Warriner, executive vice president and partner of Morgan / Harbour. “He will be a significant mentor to his project teams as well as a trusted project leader for our clients.”
Melone is a graduate of Prairie State College and is a member of the Healthcare Engineers Society of Northern Illinois and the Lean Construction Institute.
