St. Louis' Clayco opening Minneapolis office

by Midwest Real Estate News Reports
St. Louis-based Clayco Inc., a real estate development, design and construction firm, is opening a full-service office in the Minneapolis region.

Clayco has named Tim Murnane to head the new Minneapolis operations. Murnane has been the lead developer on more than 10 million square feet of industrial, office and retail projects, including the 1.6-million-square-foot Best Buy headquarters and the 1-million-square-foot Ameriprise Headquarters in downtown Minneapolis.

"I am excited to be part of Clayco's plan to expand its base into this marketplace," Murnane said. "The Twin Cities presents excellent opportunities for a Clayco expansion and for recruiting top industry talent."

According to Robert Clark, Clayco's chairman and chief executive officer, "Our goal over the next few years is to establish a strong local foothold while centering our business development for nationwide build-to-suit deals around the Twin City team."

In addition to its St. Louis headquarters, Clayco has offices in Chicago, Detroit and Washington DC, and has built projects nationwide for Best Buy, SuperValu, General Mills, Johnson & Johnson, Disney and many other Fortune 500 companies.
